Hannes Reeh’s last name may be simple, but his character is rich and diverse, his approach unconventional, and his wines intricate. Hannes Reeh, a winemaker with an enviable attitude, blends a laid-back demeanor with unwavering ambition. Known for his passion for excellent wine, Hannes embodies an easygoing persona who enjoys getting involved. He also demonstrates that the wine reflects the winemaker, and vice versa. Our wine is not just a refined drink; it’s a sociable companion always welcomed in gatherings. It thrives on being relished rather than dissected by experts. The focus is on one thing above all – it must taste and be good, and easy to savor. In pursuit of excellence, we keep the winemaking process simple, ensuring quality from grape to bottle. The Pannonian sun aids in swift ripening of the grapes, yielding healthy fruit. Hand-harvested grapes are processed in our state-of-the-art wine cellar, operational since 2012. The Reeh family began wine production actively in the 1980s, with Hannes immersed in it from a young age. He honed his winemaking skills at the Klosterneuburg School of Viticulture and through experiences with renowned vintners worldwide. In 2007, he took charge of the Andauer Weingut vineyard, marking the beginning of his winemaking journey. Today, Hannes focuses on his passion, crafting exceptional wines from over 300 acres of vineyards.
